CX Technology Campus is proposed on approximately 55 hectares of land immediately north of the former Chapelcross nuclear power station, near Annan in Dumfries and Galloway.

The location combines a long-established industrial and energy heritage with access to strategic infrastructure and substantial renewable generation across the surrounding region.

The site is approximately:

• 6 km north-east of Annan
• 3 km from the M74
• 7 km from the A75

Chapelcross also benefits from an adjacent 132kV Grid Supply Point and its location within an area of significant renewable energy generation.

This creates an opportunity to give an established strategic site a new role supporting the UK’s digital economy.

The location also places the development close to communities, businesses and supply chains across the local area, helping connect the economic opportunities created by the project with the wider region.
